It started with a stack of scattered notes - scribbled phrases, first words, and funny quotes my daughter said as she was growing up. From her earliest babbles to the hilarious things she says now at five, I wanted to hold onto it all. People always told me, “Write these down, you’ll want to show her someday.” But there was never an easy or organized way to keep those memories in one place.

That’s why we created What You Said—named after the phrase my daughter used to shout from the other room: “What you said?!” It’s a simple, beautiful way for parents to save their children’s words as they grow. So one day, you can look back and show them just how they found their voice.
